Jonathan Pincus
Jonathan S. Pincus is the Artist-in-Residence at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and a fellow at the Macy Institute at Harvard. A professional artist and educator, he divides his time between an active studio art practice here at Front Street, teaching at Wright State and the University of Dayton, and research on visual-spatial intelligence, the nexus between the representation of the human body in art and medical science, pathos formulae and the expression of emotion through the representation of the human form in dynamic movement, early modern period and baroque mimetic traditions, and the afterlife of classicism.
