Sarah Maxwell
Hello. My name is Sarah Maxwell. I am a Fine Artist who loves to draw and paint animals. I appreciate the beauty of animals and want to communicate that in my pieces. Artists who portray animals provide opportunities for viewers to experience the animal-human connection. This is an example of the hybridization of humans and animals in contemporary art and is evidence of the greater presence of animals in contemporary art. The use of humor in fine art allows an artist to provide a positive experience of endangered animals while still communicating the message of the potential extinction. By using techniques such as fine details and large-sized pieces, I am able to provide a powerful display that communicates the beauty of these animals and the responsibility to act.
