About Antoinette Suiter

Antoinette Suiter is an interdisciplinary artist and designer. Her studio practice examines the collision between humor and nostalgic extremes– utilizing ubiquitous domestic objects such as carpet, PVC pipes and wooden framing in her sculptures, installations, and mixed-media works. She holds an MFA in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), and a BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). She has exhibited nationally and internationally, including exhibitions in: Istanbul, Beirut, Prague, Chicago, Detroit, New York City, Miami, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. Her work has been mentioned in NewCity Art, Everyday Genius, V Magazine, BmoreArt, the Visualist, the Daily Star (Lebanon), Art F City, Bad at Sports, Mousse Magazine, and Art Unlimited. Most recently, she founded Bojt Designs with her partner Tom Puschautz, creating a line of tufted furniture and home goods.
