About Jen Hunter
Vagabond is a working art studio and gallery regularly presenting new work, community projects, hosting guest a variety of artists in of every artistic genre.
Vagabond owner and artist, Jen Hunter, is a photographer, mixed media artist, installation artist, writer, traveler, collector of tids and bits, and owner of Vagabond Studio and Gallery at Front Street Warehouse.
Her work is influenced by music culture, activism, roadside Americana, community spaces, and the stories people leave behind. Through photography, sculpture, and installation, she explores themes of movement, memory, impermanence, and connection. Jen’s installation work blurs the lines between art, home, and gallery through crafting comfortable public spaces that welcome you in and invite you to linger.
She is also the founder and one of the voices behind the monthly publication, the Vagabond Rag, an independent magazine celebrating artists, musicians, and the creative community of Dayton.
About Jonah Hunter
Gallery artist, Jonah Hunter is a photographer, mixed media artist and Vagabond Rag Co- Founder.
Jonah’s photography captures the calm. His eye focuses on the natural world and the peaceful freedom of being present with it.
In addition to photography, he is also a treasure hunter and recycler. His functional sculpture incorporates various salvaged items resulting in unique, one of a kind lamps and clocks.
Additionally, Jonah’s work regularly appears in the Vagabond Rag including local band photography, a Bird of the Month column, and a monthly recipe feature showcasing his culinary photography work for Country Club of the North.
Jonah’s photography and mixed media work is regularly on display and available in Vagabond’s gallery.
